Jessy (Jessica Hawkins) is a female character who made her first appearance in the first episode of Duskwood.
Story[]
From the beginning, she is the most likable character as she is the kindest of them all. She works as a secretary in Roger's Garage for Richy.
She was the first who contacted player after the police found the body in the forest. Jessy starts to suspect Cleo as she saw her close to the Garage, and the girl lied.
In the past, she was Alfie's babysitter but at some point in time, he didn't want her anymore. She also says that she wasn't born in Duskwood and that it was her family who moved there at some point.
When she finds an article in newspaper about the body, she's sure that Duskwood's residents ignore the truth when something bad happens. She suspects Thomas from the time of his short disappearance.
In the arc of legends, she volunteers to go to the library but the book she was looking for, Midnight in Duskwood was already borrowed and kept for 4 days too long.
She plans on going on a date with Dan, but eventually it will become the meeting between her and the player. After a while, she informs the player about Dan's accident. She feels guilty and the player have an opportunity to comfort her.
When Lilly wants to kick player out of the group, she is the first to object saying that the player is now one of them.
Later in history, she introduces the player to the rumors circulating around Duskwood. The rumor says that Gray, the motel's caretaker is Alfie's father and that is why he sometimes takes care of the boy. She also informs that the caretaker took Alfie's broken toy to Richy's and it was Thomas who destroyed the toy.
After the player starts to get disturbing messages, Jessy certainly states that it must be someone from the group.
She saw a brancelet in the pawnshop's window. Then, while going to home and talking with the player, she gets attacked by the Man Without a Face.
In the next episode, she informs the player about Phil's arrest and remembers an assilant. She is sure it was a man and he did not carry any weapon, as if he didn't want to hurt Jessy.
After she finds an address in Hannah's car sat-nav. Jessy starts to feel suspicious about the whole situation as Richy stated that Hannah's car didn't have a sat-nav. She goes to the address and finds Iris Hanson, who was also a mother to a deseased Jennifer Hanson from ten years ago. After the talk, she decides to go to the police and ask about everything.
She informs the player that police knows everything about Jake, the player and hiding the evidence. And also it was someone from the group who gone to the police and snitched on her brother. When she comes back to her flat, she finds a crow on her door. She wants to move out from Duskwood at least for a while and aska other to join her.
After Richy's disappearance she wants to look for him on her own. She confides in the player saying that she was certain it was Richy who reported Phil. When police comes out of the forest, she sees Richy's hat covered in blood. For a while, she stops writing anything.
When Jake and the player share their investigations and circumstantial evidences on the new group, she is grateful. Jessy took care of searching for AMC Gremlin information in Roger's Garage's files. After finding Michael Hanson's information, Jessy with Thomas drive to his house.
They both found enough evidence to state that this house was the culprit's hideout. When police got there, they found nothing and she was angry at that.
The group goes to the hideout on the border of Duskwood. She gives the player a tour around the house and goes path at the back of the house. While talking with the player, she says that when she sat in the Hannah's car, the driver's seat was too far for her and Hannah isn't much taller than her. She thinks that someone else may have sat there before. Especially that there was time when Thomas hasn't seen the car and some time later, it reappeared. She points out that when Hannah was at Iris', she said that the one who killed Jennifer was now after her. Jessy thinks that it is hardly believable as it was Hannah and Amy who had run over Jennifer.
When she calls the player after some time, she thinks that someone may have hid the documents about AMC Gremlin as she couldn't find them anywhere. Eventually she found out about the missing 1103 file nad it was the car. Which also belonged to one Ted Madruga.
In the last episode, some time after getting the stream from camera, she sees something at the edge of the forest. She is sure that it's someone's lamp. MWF, as she reveals.
She phones the player and then comes downstairs. The patio doors are open and she sees no one. Looking back, there's MWF standing in the corrindor. When she falls, scared to death, Dan shoots the intruder and he runs away.
After the player shares the exchange they were proposed, Jessy is first to oppose.
During the last phone call with Richy, he takes the mask off and Jessy is stunned. After he says the facts about her, she starts to cry.
At the end, she is presumably reunited with Hannah and the rest of the group.
Relationships[]
Jessy's father left their mother and it was her who took all of her children to her mother. She has two older sibling; sister, Angela that lives in Colville, and brother, Phil that still lives in Duskwood. Her grandma was from Duskwood and she was taking care of her, but eventually woman died of an illness.
She loves all of her friends equally, but sees them as nothing more than friends.
During the game it is also possible for a player to become her love interest or best friend.

- On the first day of her new job, Richy assured her that he knows the names of all the fishes in the aquarium. It took Jessy half a year to find out that he always said different names
- When she was younger, she had a recurring nightmare of herself standing on the bridge. At the bottom she has seen her friends but when one of them lookeded in her direction, she was transported to an infinite room of darkness. She says that the nightmare become a reality in Duskwood
- During Episode 1 she states that looking for Hannah is police's job and if her friends start to interfere, they will eventually put an innocent person in prison - it may be sort of foreshadowing of Phil's arrest
